Claire and Tesh’s love story dates back to high school…well, sort of. Remarkably, they attended the same school and knew many of the same people, but they never knew each other! The two finally met during winter break of Claire’s senior year in college when Erin (who became Claire’s maid of honor) invited her to a friend’s house. Claire and Tesh were introduced, but as they describe their first meeting… nothing happened! Fast forward a few years and the couple meet again at a mutual friend’s birthday party, and that’s when it happened. Surrounded by close friends and family, Claire and Tesh re-tied the knot at the Other Barn in Columbia, MD. Claire looked stunning in her Rebecca Ingram for Maggie Sottero dress, and I absolutely loved the dusty lavender bridesmaid’s dresses from Birdy Grey. Tesh and his groomsmen looked dashing in their attire – all the way from from India! The couple shared a sweet first look at the ceremony site. I love the look of admiration on Tesh’s face as he turned and saw his beautiful bride. It is easy to see how much the couple adores each other and how excited they were for the day! After portraits and wedding party photos, it was time for the ceremony, which was officiated by Claire’s uncle Tom. The ceremony included a reading by Claire’s brother Ben and the traditional Indian custom of the groom placing the mangalsutra (necklace) on the bride. The reception was filled with lots of dancing and heartfelt speeches by the maid of honor Erin and best man Mevan.

Congratulations, Claire and Tesh! I absolutely loved being a part of this chapter in your lives and feel so honored to be invited to document this happy occasion. I wish you all the best as you embark on this wonderful union!
