Woodholme Country Club Micro Wedding // Brittany + Billy

Brittany and Billy’s micro wedding at the Woodholme Country Club was beautiful!! Like so many other couples, Brittany and Billy decided to postpone their large wedding celebration until next year, but still chose to marry on their original wedding date. Working with this couple is so easy and fun. When I arrived, I found a relaxed bride with hair and make-up all done which is just the best because a bride should not feel rushed on their special day! I love how detail-oriented Brittany is, and she did a beautiful job personalizing their day…from handwritten vows and a ceremony arch, to customized hand-sanitizer and a maid-of-honor decorated golf cart.  Even her Tiffany perfume was a delight – I’m obsessed! I know she also took a few notes for next year’s ceremony.  It will surely also be amazing because of her exquisite attention to detail.

For the first look and portraits we rode in a golf cart around the course. Brittany is such a boss bride she hopped on that golf cart and drove us both to the first look location – so fun! Billy, an avid golfer, had picked a perfect spot beforehand and was waiting for her at the planned location. After the first look we took bride and groom portraits, and below you can see just some of my favorites!  Another one of the highlights was the sweet daddy-daughter first look. And then it was time for the ceremony! The ceremony was set at the golf course and officiated by Billy’s uncle. After exchanging personalized vows and rings, it became official! The confetti was cued and the newlyweds took off in their Mr. & Mrs. golf cart! After family pictures and cocktail hour, a small reception was set on the outdoor patio and activities included first dance, toasts by groom’s dad, maid of honor, and best man.  This may not have been the wedding they originally envisioned, but it was perfect! This couple showed patience, grace and humor throughout, and next year we’ll do it again at the Anchor Inn! In the meantime, enjoy some of my favorites from their special day! Congratulations to this beautiful couple and thank you for letting me document this journey for you!
