Claire and Hitesh got married at Brookside Gardens with six of their closest family members in presence and Claire’s uncle officiating. It was a gorgeous setting for a beautiful ceremony that included mangalsutra – a traditional Indian custom of a groom adorning the bride with a necklace made of black and gold beads, and a special surprise song by Claire’s uncle. Claire’s bouquet was made by the maid of honor, it was so sweet. Planning a wedding under the current circumstances is not for the faint of heart, but Claire and Hitesh are a couple who care most about the thing that matters the most – marriage. Their intimate ceremony on a rainy afternoon was deeply meaningful and a beautiful celebration of their love and commitment to each other. The day was filled with pure happiness. Hitesh had also planned a surprise for Claire for after the ceremony. Family and friends lined up in their cars at a parking lot to witness the announcement of them as a married couple and their first dance. Claire was definitely surprised! These are the moments I cherish the most as a photographer and I am so thankful to have been invited to document the celebration of their union.
