Brittany and Billy met almost five years ago at Physician Assistant Graduate School Orientation. Last October Billy proposed at a winery and she said “yes”! And can I just say Billy did amazingly picking out the ring? I’m obsessed with her gorgeous round diamond. I first met Brittany and Billy over coffee back in January to chat about their wedding plans and I knew immediately they would be such a fun couple to photograph. Thanks to their recommendation, I have also added Roatán Island in Honduras to my travel bucket list. We initially talked about doing a spring engagement session, but between coronavirus and their busy work schedules as PAs, we held off until mid-June. This was my first engagement session since the pandemic began and how I’ve missed being behind the camera! It was a gloomy evening so regrettably we didn’t get a sunset, but the temperature was pleasant and their bright smiles more than made up for that. Like so many other 2020 couples, they’ve made the tough decision to get married as planned in a small ceremony this year and postpone the large wedding celebration (at Anchor Inn) until next year.

I was so thrilled when Brittany mentioned they were hoping to bring their cavapoo pup Cooper to the session. Brittany’s parents brought Cooper over to the park so he could join a part of the session. It was so cute how excited Cooper was to see his humans! Seriously, how adorable is he?

Pop the bubbly, these two are getting married! A friend of theirs had gifted them these Mr. & Mrs. glasses, a perfect little addition to their session.
