LINCOLN MEMORIAL | WASHINGTON DC

When we moved to the national capital region this summer, I added a National Monuments photography session to my bucket list. I can’t believe I’ve already had the experience…and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple than Lauren and Daniel to help make it happen! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them during our session, they are such a lovely couple. Lauren was incredibly patient as we navigated the permit application process for the first time. We originally planned on the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, but it was undergoing renovations, so we opted for our back-up location – the Lincoln Memorial.  The weather forecast showed a high chance of storms, but WOW am I glad we stuck with our original plan for a sunrise session, because I absolutely love all these classic images we captured!!
